The Oyaide P-079e is made from super thick (0.2micron) 24K GOLD plating directly on polished surface of receptacle and blade. Polishing process again (twice) on the 24K GOLD plated surface. Schuko power plug
The basic material is pure brass for P-029/C-029. Its rigidty makes the contact secure. The blade of P-029 would often be oxidized because of its material, pure brass. When it happens, you need to polish it out frequently by cotton cloth. 100% Made in Japan - Offerta/Sale!
IEC power plug
The basic material is deoxidized phosphor bronze (1.4mm thick) for strength and secure contact. Surface is thoroughly polished twice. The plating of the P-046/C-046 is a combination of 24k gold and palladium which were selected as a result of repeated listening tests.
