The Oyaide C-079 is made from super thick (0.2micron) 24K GOLD plating directly on polished surface of receptacle and blade. Polishing process again (twice) on the 24K GOLD plated surface. The basic material is deoxidized phosphor bronze (1.4mm thick) for strength and secure contact. Surface is thoroughly polished twice. The plating of the P-046/C-046 is a combination of 24k gold and palladium which were selected as a result of repeated listening tests.
